Week #9 Thing 23

I'm done!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe that I did it. Throughout this class I learned a lot of web resources that I can never imagine that they are just a "click" away. I enjoyed a lot and although it was time consuming, it worth it!!! I will be able to keep searching, exploring and most important, to use a lot of this tools in my professional and personal live. I've been sitting on my computer since I got from my vacations and I can tell that I never imagine that I would become "technological addictive". I will go forward to the 2.1 as soon as it open! Thanks a lot for the chance!

Week #9 Thing 22

I didn't find a lot of excitement on the e-books but I found a clip of a guy on a playing on a pool table and as he hit the two blue balls (Hydrogen) with a white ball (Oxygen) he got water. Week #9 Thing 21

I found through the podcast sites some interesting things about science. I have iTunes on my computer and I am becoming an up to date mom downloading music, videos, movies and some episodes from our favorite TV shows. Knowing about this podcast sites will give me the chance to explore different things that I can use with my students and my kids!!!!!! This is time consuming and once you start, you can't stop!

Week #9 Thing 20

I was familiar with You Tube because of my children. I think that as a Chemistry teacher I will find some interesting things to use with my students but also, we need to be very careful with the use of this application. There are a lot of unwanted things and some others things that are not appropriate for teenagers.Among the Chemistry videos I found one about a cat inside a microwave!!!!! You don't want to show that to your students! Also, there are some ugly videos degrading teacher's work. But at last, you don't need to tell your students or children to search something on You Tube; you can do it yourself and just show it to them!!!! I like most the things that I saw while I was searching and also it makes me go back to the 85's when I was a 9th grader!!!!!!!!!!!!

Week #8 Thing 19

I had a lot of fun trying to remember all the books that I have read. Because I used to read i Spanish, it was quite difficult, not to search, but to find the authors. I will keep searching and updating my library. After Chemistry and Math, reading is my other passion!!!!!!!!!!

Week #7 Thing 17

I don't know the invitation key to post on the Teacher Lounge or Curriculum Sandbox. As soon as I get them I will post somethings on there because this class is driving me crazy!!!!!!!! I've never imagine that I will learn a lot just sitting by my computer with a cup of coffee!!!!!!!!!!

Week #8 Thing 18

Never imagine that I will find this types of tools on the web.  It's amazing!!!!!!!!!!! A wonderful way to let our students access the web and look for tools that are really useful.  I love this place and I think that I will tell my students to qrite their labs reports in here and then just send them.  Less papers to carry home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
